Ron Mueck

Ron Mueck (born 1958) Is an Australian Sculptor known for hyper-realism. He makes art that depicts people that look real. Compared to other artists his work is extremely life like.

This is a very interesting piece that depicts a copy of his face I believe. Personally I don't find it appealing but see why others would and that is because it is so realistic.

Man In Boat

This is another hyper-realistic art piece by Ron and it depicts a man in a boat, not much to really say about it. He has no clothes for some reason.

Naum Gabo

Naum Gabo (5 August [O.S. 24 July] 1890 – 23 August 1977) is a Russian Sculptor and Kinetic Artist who is known for constructivism. Compared to other artists his work is quite geometric.

Spiral Theme

This is a very cool geometric wire frame piece that looks like a shell or something of the sort. I believe people would find it appealing because of the build technique and the shape. It uses negative space very effectively.

Circular Relief

This is a very interesting geometric wall sculpture that looks very cool. I believe it would look quite awesome in real life and it uses contrast very well.

Cai Guo-Qiang

Cai Guo-Qiang (born 8 December 1957) is a Chinese artist who is known for contemporary art. Compared to other artists he uses a lot of animals.

Inopportune: Stage Two

This is an installation sculpture made in 2004 and depicts a tiger getting hunt down with arrows. I personally think this is an extremely cool piece and find it very appealing. It is hung from the ceiling which I also find very cool.

The Dragon Has Arrived!

Is an installation piece made in 1997 and is made of wood. It depicts a dragon spewing fire. It hangs from the ceiling where it lives. I find it very appealing because dragons are cool.

Ruth Asawa

Ruth Asawa (January 24, 1926 – August 5, 2013) is a Japanese American sculptor who went to Black Mountain College. She does a lot of organic Framework types of sculptures.

This is a very interesting piece made of wire, it is appealing cause it looks cool and has no name so people are intrigued by it. it uses space very well because it is hanging from the ceiling.

This is a very cool piece that is created from wire and is a very organic shape which is why its appealing to people. I find it quite cool looking and would put it on my wall.
