Henry Moore

Henry Moore (30 July 1898 – 31 August 1986) is from England and is known for Modern Art sculptures. his sculpture are quite modern for being so old and probably had an extreme impact on todays modern art.

Upright Motive No. 1: Glenkiln Cross
This piece is quite cool in my opinion, it reminds me of totem poles and I like how you can get right up next to them because they are outside. I believe that is one of the appeals of this piece. It interacts with space by being equal distances apart and being larger than humans which is really cool it is also in an open field which makes it look like a monument to something.

Nuclear Energy
Nuclear Energy is a bronze statue on the campus of the University of Chicago it resembles a reactor and I think it is quite cool. it appears to be a rounded shape from far away but the closer you get the bigger its appears and you are able to see the whole in the center.
