James Turrell

James Turrell (born May 6, 1943) is an American artist who is primarily concerned with light and space. He mainly creates installation art. Compared to other artists his work is quite simple and geometric.

RAETHRO II RED

      This is a very interesting piece and is made on an inverted corner of a room and it depict a red diamond shape which is surrounded by a darker shade of red. There isn't much to talk about when it comes to his work because it is so simple which is why it is so appealing.

The Inner Way

Its a yellow and blue tunnel. Thats it. But seriously its appealing because of the contrasting tunnels and how stupidly simple it is, it was the first one I noticed on his website. Its use of space it good I mean its a tunnel......
