Alberto Giacometti

Alberto Giacometti (10 October 1901 – 11 January 1966) is a Swiss artist known for Sculpting, painting and drawing. He specialized in Surrealism, Expressionism, Cubism, and Formalism.

The Palace at 4 a.m. 

The Palace at 4 a.m. is a1932 surrealist sculpture by Alberto Giacometti. It is located in the Museum of Modern Art. It depicts the framework of an art museum. It appeals to people because it is so simple and makes good use of negative space.

Spoon Woman

Spoon Woman is a bronze statue that is supposed to depict a woman made out of a spoon and I think that is why it appeals to people. It is a very creative design. I think it looks like a chess piece though.
