Alexander Calder

Alex Calder (August 22, 1898 – November 11, 1976) is an American sculptor who is known for Kinetic art, Surrealism, and Abstraction. He also has the presidential medal of freedom which is pretty cool.
Compared to others his work is very modern and very red.

Flamingo

Flamingo is a giant modern art piece (that is red surprise surprise) and it is really cool looking which is why people find it appealing I believe. It interacts with space by being a giant art installation that people can walk under and stuff like that.

Teodelapio

Teodelapio is another giant art installation by Calder and is quite awesome looking it reminds me of a castle. It is kinda weird that it isn't red though. It is the center piece of where it is located.
