Sandy Skoglund

Sandy Skoglund (born September 11, 1946) Is an American photographer and installation artist. Compared to others her work is very colorful and imaginative.

Revenge of The Goldfish

As soon as I saw the title I had to choose this one. It is amazing, its appealing because of the imagination that went into it and the contrasting colors. It use of space is quite good as well because it takes up a full room. I love it.

The Human Animal

I find this one quite amazing as well I love the idea and all the colors in it. The cats are awesome. Again she takes up the whole area and this time it appears to be outside because of the lighting but thats just my opinion it could be inside I really don't know.

James Turrell

James Turrell (born May 6, 1943) is an American artist who is primarily concerned with light and space. He mainly creates installation art. Compared to other artists his work is quite simple and geometric.

RAETHRO II RED

The Inner Way

Its a yellow and blue tunnel. Thats it. But seriously its appealing because of the contrasting tunnels and how stupidly simple it is, it was the first one I noticed on his website. Its use of space it good I mean its a tunnel......

Maya Lin

Maya Lin (born October 5, 1959) is an American designer and artist who is known for her Sculpture and land art. Compared to other artists her art is quite earthy if thats a word.

Vietnam Veteran's Memorial

This one isn't really a sculpture but I thought I should add it because it is so important and commemorates people who have fought and died for this country.

Eclipsed Time

This one I found very interesting because the concept of time is very important to me (I have a pretty big tattoo of a clock on my back just to give you an idea) so this makes it very interesting to me. this is an installment in the ceiling of a Pennsylvania Station and depicts some sort of sun dial I believe. Its use of space is very good because it was incorporated into the ceiling of a building.

Andy Goldsworthy

Andy Goldsworthy (born 26 July 1956) is a British sculptor and photographer who is known for environmental and land art. compared to other artists he uses a lot of environmental elements in his art.

Rowan Leaves and Hole

I really like this piece and find it quite beautiful, it is made of leaves surrounding a whole and its color scheme makes it quite appealing. It uses space quite well because it is symmetrical.

Icestar

This is a very cool piece and is very appealing because ice is had to work with but thats why it is cool. It is a star made of ice not much else to say.
